Köseilyas

The reason why the name of the village was Köseilyas is that there was an agha named İlyas, who was a short man, in the village. This network was very famous. At that time, the name of the village was different. One day, when Köseilyas died, these villagers gave the village the name of their beloved landlord. Thus, the name of the village became Köseilyas village.

Tekirdağ central district is 8 km from Süleymanpaşa.

The economy of a village depends on agriculture and husbandry.

There is elementary school at the village however it is not in use, mobile education is taken advantage of. The village has both drinking water and sewage mains network. There is no PTT branch or PTT agency. There is no health centers and health posts. The road that provides access to the village is asphalt and there is electricity and fixed telephone in the village. The population in 2019 is 279 people.
